The name ‘Marmalade Bar’ seems to be a bit controversial! We’ve taken these bars to a few events and customer reactions fall into two camps. There’s ‘ooh that sounds interesting’ or there’s ‘urgh marmalade’.
Well, marmalade haters, there’s nothing to fear here! This is simply a delicious vegan white chocolate bar with pieces of candied orange blended into it. Vegan white chocolate can often be over sweet and sugary which is why we’ve avoided it until recently. The chocolate in this bar is the best substitute for milk based white chocolate we found so far. It’s a little more expensive but, we think the taste is worth it. The flavour of the orange pieces balances the sweetness of the chocolate perfectly.
We might change the name in future but, it will have to stay until we’ve used up our current stock of labels!
