Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this website. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

These terms and conditions apply to purchases made through the Truffle Witch website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Privacy Policy

Before you continue using our website we advise you to read our privacy policy regarding our user data collection. It will help you better understand our practices.

Orders

Before submitting your order, you will be given the opportunity to review your order and amend it. Please ensure you have reviewed your order carefully before submission. Your order will be acknowledged by email. A contract between us will be formed when we confirm acceptance of your order. If we cannot accept or fulfil your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund any payment already made.

Customer Account

Customers may create an account on our website to make future purchases easier and to manage their personal information. You are responsible for keeping your account login details confidential and should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

We recommend that you do not share your password with others. We will take reasonable steps to protect your account information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Handmade Products

All Truffle Witch products are handmade in small batches. As a result, individual items may vary slightly in appearance, colour, decoration and finish. We make every effort to ensure photographs and descriptions accurately represent our products. These small variations are part of the handmade nature of our chocolates.

Our products are intended for personal purchase and enjoyment and may not be resold without our prior written permission. We reserve the right to refuse orders where we believe products are being purchased for unauthorised resale.

Allergens

Full ingredients and allergen information are provided on individual product pages and packaging. Customers with allergies should review this information carefully before ordering. Further information about ingredients, storage and frequently asked questions can be found in our FAQs. If you are unsure of anything, please contact us before placing your order.

Storage

Our chocolates should be stored according to the guidance provided with your order. Chocolate is sensitive to heat and humidity and we cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by storage conditions after delivery. More information can be found in our FAQs and in our blog post.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within the timescales stated on our website. Delivery times are estimates provided by our chosen courier or postal service and are outside our direct control once your order has been dispatched.

Payments

Payment for goods and related delivery charges must always be made in advance and you will be prompted to pay during the order process. We accept the following methods of payment on our site: Visa, Mastercard and Amex. When you order online, you are responsible for providing accurate billing information.

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Due to the handmade nature and perishability of our products, cancellation rights do not apply to personalised items or products made to order, or to food products which are likely to deteriorate or expire quickly. Should we send you an incorrect order, we will send you a replacement or a full refund. In most cases, we will not ask you to return the item. From time to time, orders may be damaged in transit. Should you receive a damaged item, please contact us via email to customercontact@trufflewitch.com with details of your order and a photograph of the damage. We will then send you a replacement or issue a full refund. Chocolate is temperature sensitive. We provide storage and delivery guidance, and customers are responsible for ensuring parcels are not left unattended in warm conditions.

Due to the handmade nature and perishability of our products, cancellation rights do not apply to personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or to food products which are likely to deteriorate or expire quickly.

Disputes

Should any dispute arise that is related in any way to your visit to this website or to products or services you purchase from us, you agree that before taking any formal action, you will contact us via email to customercontact@trufflewitch.com, provide a brief, written description of the dispute and your contact information and allow 30 days to pass, during which we will attempt to reach an amicable resolution of any issue.
