After taking a break last year, the Michelham Priory Christmas Market is back with a bang, combining the market with a medieval fayre!

Step into a medieval winter wonderland at this one-of-a-kind holiday event. Take part in a range of have-a-go and craft activities for the whole family and warm up around a roaring fire with some delicious mulled wine and roasted chestnuts. The Floral Fringe Fair is now in it’s tenth year but it’s the first time that Truffle Witch has taken part. Described as “a tad eccentric and typically British”, the fair offers musical performances as well as a selection of artists and makers, street food, a beer tent and much more. The Southdowns Music Festival Market is looking forward to welcoming everyone back again this year.

This unique shopping event has been running successfully for the last five years, complimenting the Festival which based in Bognor Town Centre at various venues and on the streets.

The market will run Friday 23rd 12pm - 6pm, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th 10am till 5pm September and will be located on the Place St Maur and closed Seafront Road, which will come alive with an exciting array of fascinating market stalls and entertainment to temp all budgets and tastes.

There will be a full program of entertainments located in and around the market areas, which will show case local musicians, dance groups and more.

Michelham Priory is the site of a former Augustine Priory in Upper Dicker, East Sussex. The surviving buildings are now owned and administered by the Sussex Archaeological Society. They are Grade I and Grade II listed buildings and date back as far as the 13th century. Events at this lovely location are always very atmospheric and the Christmas Fair is no exception.
